This compact UW–Madison garden is packed with charm: koi ponds, diverse plantings, and architectural details ideal for more intimate family portraits. A photography fee applies, but the curated beauty is worth it.

Stone bridges, a peaceful lagoon, and lake views make Tenney Park a versatile location for all seasons, especially during golden hour. Kids love the space to run while parents love the classic Madison views.

6. Pheasant Branch Conservancy
In nearby Middleton, this quiet oasis offers expansive trails, natural light, and a mix of prairie and wooded backdrops. Ideal for laid-back, nature-inspired sessions with room to roam.
