Every year I tell myself I’ll be calm about holiday sessions, and every year I end up way too excited about them. My Madison holiday mini sessions are officially open, the greenhouse is decorated, and I’d love to have you out this season.
I keep the holiday setup timeless on purpose. Natural greenery, twinkling lights, cozy little touches, and a ton of gorgeous window light. It feels like the holidays without looking like a theme park, so your photos won’t feel dated in five years. And since we’re indoors, nobody has to stand in a Wisconsin snowbank pretending they’re not freezing.
These sessions work for pretty much everyone: families, kids, couples, maternity, and yes, pets too. Whether you need this year’s Christmas card, a gift for the grandparents, or just an updated family photo that isn’t a blurry phone selfie, there’s an option that fits.
Holiday Mini Session: $300
- 30 minute session
- 10 edited digital images
- Extra images are $25 each, or upgrade to the full gallery for $250
This is the one for bigger families, anyone who wants a few different groupings, or kids who need a minute to warm up.
Holiday Micro Session: $150
- 15 minute session
- 5 edited digital images
- Extra images are $25 each, or upgrade to the full gallery for $100
Quick and easy. Great for a card photo, a solo portrait, or a family that knows exactly what they want 🙂
Need more time?
If you’re wrangling a big extended family or want more variety than a mini allows, longer sessions are available on request. Just reach out and we’ll figure out what works!
A few tips so it goes smoothly
Coordinate, don’t match. Pick two or three colors and build outfits around them. Textures like knits, velvet, and plaid look amazing in the greenhouse light. Bring a snack for the little ones and plan to arrive a few minutes early so nobody feels rushed.
