Never stop searching for four-leaf clovers; in the journey of seeking rare treasures, you often discover the beauty of the ordinary along the way.
My priorities have changed. At one point, I sought fame and international accolades, dreaming of recognition on a grand scale. While these aspirations remain on my vision board, my fulfillment has shifted dramatically.
Now, I find profound satisfaction in the simplicity and serenity of renovating my property and nurturing my land. Planting flowers, watching them bloom and removing weeds (literally and figuratively) to make way for new growth have become my sources of joy. In this new chapter, I’m discovering that true fulfillment often lies in the quiet, steady work of cultivating the world immediately around us.
Friends and family will always take priority. They are the constants in an ever-changing world, the anchors that keep me grounded. While career achievements and personal goals are important, they pale in comparison to the irreplaceable value of the relationships I have with those closest to me.
I have had great pleasure in connecting with local photographers and other business and industry leaders. Volunteering my photography services has been extremely gratifying, and it makes me a better person.
These industry connections are my greatest source of strength and joy. Celebrating milestones together, supporting each other through challenges, and creating a web of shared experiences bring a depth of meaning to my life that no amount of solo professional success could ever replicate. I am the definition of an extroverted people person.
Prioritizing friends and family helps me find balance and perspective. They remind me of who I am and where I come from, helping me stay true to my values and grounded in life. I am still a redneck from northern Wisconsin. That will not ever change.
Ultimately, these relationships shape my life and give it purpose. Friends and family are the heart of my existence, and their well-being and happiness are my greatest priorities.
